History

A regional solution provider with strong ties to the communities and businesses it serves, TPC Associates, Inc. (TPC Systems) was founded in 1935 by Thomas Peter Cafora in Bridgeport, Connecticut as a small radio shop. In the 1950s, TPC expanded into healthcare by providing hospitals with nurse call systems. In the 1990s, TPC added mobile clinical communications solutions that integrated nurse call with pocket pagers and wireless phones. Since then TPC has continued to offer hospitals wireless solutions to address changing communications needs.

In 2006, TPC introduced a unique identity and focus to its healthcare communication practice and created a wholly-owned subsidiary. TPC Healthcare was launched to bring customers in New England and the Mid-Atlantic states the very best in healthcare communications solutions and service. TPC Healthcare offers hospitals and other healthcare organizations high levels of service and support. As part of this mission, TPC professionals work with the doctors, nurses, clinicians, techs, and administrators who are the lifeblood of every healthcare facility.

Now a standalone business, TPC Healthcare continues to offer unique healthcare communication solutions to overcome the technical and operational challenges of hospital environments through practical innovation and customer support.
