Vocera Certifies Austco EasyTouch; Hospitals Now Have Alternative Middleware Option

This February, Vocera Communications officially certified Austco’s EasyTouch, a software platform that works with numerous event notification systems such as security, access control networks, HVAC, communication systems, fire alarm panels, patient monitoring, and other specialized equipment. As a certified integration solution, EasyTouch can provide configurable event notification to Vocera’s hands-free, 802.11b/g wireless devices, as well as PCS phones, pagers, PDAs, and tablet PCs.
